Meproford injections contain Meropenem, a penem group antibiotic that acts via inhibiting growth of disease causing germs. Being a broad spectrum antibiotic it is prescribed in cases of brain infections, skin structure infections, intra-abdominal infections, blood infections and post-surgical infections.
